It’s finally time to share, and writing this post just makes it all feel a little more real. Zack and I are overjoyed to announce that…
The Kaderly family will be growing this year!
This sweet little babe is due on September 22nd, and we cannot wait to meet him or her (I’m counting down the days till we get to find out what we’re having)!! We’ve prayed for our children since before we were married, and we know that this is one of the biggest blessings we’ll ever receive! Parenthood is NOT an easy journey, but it’s amazing to know that we serve a God who is our provision, our shelter, our strength, and will equip us with everything we need to raise this child. He is the author of life, and we are so grateful that we get to be a part of growing and raising this life that He has created!
This has been the hardest secret to keep (and I’m sure our families are glad they can finally tell people now too!), but we are so excited to finally share this news with you as I round up my first trimester (and hopefully say goodbye to all this morning sickness ;)). Our trip to Paris and London turned into a babymoon, so Jess McGhie (Isn’t she crazy talented?? You can find her website HERE!) took some announcement shots for us while we were in London! Here are a few favorites, featuring the absolutely adorable watercolor portrait that her sister Beth made for us (you can follow her beautiful work on Instagram HERE!). It’s even more beautiful in person and I can’t wait to hang it in our nursery, which I’m dying to start decorating!!
If you’re reading this, then know that we are so thankful for YOU, our friends and family, who we know will be a special part of this child’s life! We can’t wait to meet baby Kaderly this September!
FAQ’s (because why not? 😉 haha)
“When are you due?” — September 22nd!
“When do you find out the gender?” — Sometime next month, between 16-20 weeks, but we might decide to keep that within the family and let everyone else be surprised!
“Do you want a boy or a girl?” — I think the answer to this is obvious — we will be so happy with either!
Oh my goodness, where do I even start?? When I first met up with Erica for coffee, I felt like I was meeting with an old friend! She just exudes so much joy, and hearing her talk about Stephen and their story was the best — they are absolutely best friends and are so perfect for each other! Another one of my sweet brides, Becca, who is also a friend of Erica’s joined us halfway through the meeting, and it was just so good to get to catch up with Becca and talk all about her wedding as well as Erica’s wedding plans!
Stephen lives in Tennessee, so we planned their session pretty far in advance so that he would be able to drive down for their engagement photos — but we had no idea that we would just happen to pick the ONE weekend that Pensacola decided to freeze ;). Thankfully, that meant an empty beach for us filled with lots of cuddling photos! And the golden light of the sunset was unreal, making it the PERFECT day for engagement photos on Pensacola Beach!
Erica and Stephen, I hope you enjoy this little preview of your photos while the rest of them are being finished! You guys are the BEST and I can’t wait for your wedding this fall!!
I’ve been so excited to share the news…
Taylor J Photography is now Taylor Kaderly Photography!
When I first started this business I was a young 16 year old without any big dreams, other than a desire to pursue an art form she loved (and become a dolphin trainer at Sea World, but that’s another story ;), God’s plans are ALWAYS more fulfilling than we can imagine!). Seven years into this crazy adventure and capturing love as a professional wedding photographer has become my passion and my full-time career.
Seven years in business has taught me a lot — besides developing my skills as a photographer and investing in the tools I need to do my job with excellence, I’ve grown to discover my WHY behind what I do, and have poured my heart and soul into creating a brand based around loving and serving brides and grooms through one of the most amazing seasons of their lives. It’s been quite the journey, and I wouldn’t want it any other way! The sleepless nights, challenging situations I’ve had to navigate, and hard decisions I’ve had to make have been 100% worth it. I’m confident that this is where God has called me to serve Him for this season of my life, and I have had the opportunity to work with (and become friends with!) some of the most incredible people in the world through it! I went from solely serving the Pensacola area, to traveling all over the country as a destination wedding photographer! I am immensely thankful for ALL of you brides and grooms who have entrusted me with the responsibility of capturing your weddings, and also for the team of amazing industry friends who have been faithfully cheering me on from the start.
When I first decided to use my middle initial, J, in my business name, I did so because I didn’t want to have to rebrand everything if I was still doing this when I got married. When I married Zack a little over a year ago, I gladly took his last name as a part of my new identity as his wife. My middle name still starts with a J, but I’ve never gone by “Taylor J” personally, so keeping that as my business name just doesn’t feel like “me” anymore! I am Taylor Kaderly, and this past year I’ve realized that when you’re a creative entrepreneur, so much of yourself is tangled in with your business! Your heart is in every detail, and it’s hard (and in my case, unnecessary) to try to separate the two identities. My style and branding has developed over the years as I’ve become more and more dedicated to what I do and have grown in my own faith and convictions and understanding of who I am as a person, and a new name for my business needs to go along with my new name as a wife. It felt like the only thing that was missing as I’ve slowly rebranded everything over the past year, so I’m finally taking a leap and making the change!
So here’s to new seasons, new names, and a new year filled with photographing more incredible new couples!!
For everyone who clicked on this link thinking it was a baby announcement, I hate to disappoint you! haha It’s not quite time for our family to grow yet! But Zack and I do have some fun things planned for 2017, and I’ll cut to the chase because I’m just so excited…
WE’RE GOING TO PARIS!!
You guys, we get to spend Valentine’s Day at the Eiffel Tower. VALENTINE’S DAY!!! Is that not the most romantic thing?! We’re also planning on taking the train to London and spending the first few days of our trip exploring England (huge C.S. Lewis and Tolkein nerd right here! Tell me I’m not alone?!).
My sweet friend Michelle has these mugs in her shop! You can find it HERE.
Way back when Zack and I were just getting to know each other, one of the first things we shared was our dream to travel the world one day with our future spouse. We spent our honeymoon and first year of marriage traveling “the world” at Epcot (yayy for year passes to Disney!), and daydreaming about where we wanted to go in the future. A couple weeks ago we came across an amazing deal on flights to Paris, and decided to jump on it! Neither of us have been to Europe before, and I CAN’T WAIT to experience these new things with my best friend!
I would also LOVE to shoot an engagement/anniversary session or two while I’m there, so if you live in or near Paris or London, let’s chat!! Or if it’s your dream to have engagement photos taken there and you want to book plane tickets and plan a trip, that’d be cool too ;)! Traveling around the U.S. as a destination wedding photographer is a ton of fun, but it’s also my goal to one day photograph an international wedding, so if you want to help me fulfill that dream I would love you forever!
If you’ve been to Paris or London (or anywhere in France or England really!) leave a comment sharing some of your favorite things about your trip! What needs to go on our must-see list?? Any travel tips will also be greatly appreciated, as well as coat and boot recommendations because I live in Florida and don’t own anything thicker than a fleece jacket! haha
If you follow along with my adventures on Instagram, then you know of my love for travel. I’ve flown across the country to the beautiful town of Wenatchee, WA several times in the past few years for workshops and intensives with Delight and Be, and I’ve left a bit of my heart there each time, so to say I was excited to have the opportunity to photograph a wedding there would be an understatement! Shooting a wedding in the PNW has been a dream of mine for a long time, but the real dream come true was getting to work with a couple as amazing as Jessie and Caleb! From our first meeting over Facetime, I immediately hit it off with Jessie and felt like we had been friends our whole lives! She is one of the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever meet, and she made me feel so welcomed and like a part of the family on her wedding day! And the connection that she and Caleb have is such a beautiful and rare type of friendship. It was such a joy to watch them celebrate the day together and become husband and wife! Their wedding at the Sunshine Ranch, nestled between the orchards and mountains of Washington state, was more perfect than I could’ve dreamed, and I am so excited to share a “little” preview from their wedding day!
Jessie and Caleb, THANK YOU for trusting me as your photographer and letting me celebrate with you guys! I am so so happy for you two, and I can’t wait to see where God takes you on this new adventure as husband and wife!
The first look is always one of my absolute favorite parts of a wedding, and watching Caleb see Jessie in her wedding gown for the first time was the sweetest!!
We snuck away into the orchards for some intimate bride and groom photos…
You GUYS. Are they not the most stunning bride and groom?!
Jessie, you are absolutely beautiful!!
That pigtail!! Oh my heart!
Shout out to Jessie’s bridesmaids for being the best! You girls were way too much fun to hang out with all day!
Is this not the prettiest setup?! The Sunshine Ranch did not disappoint. More receptions surrounded by mountains, please!
Family photos are never boring when your family is this great <3.
So happy that Jessie and Caleb wanted to sneak out of the reception for a few sunset photos during golden hour!
LOVE this couple!!

I don’t know how I get the privilege of documenting such beautiful love stories lived out by the most amazing couples, but Tuesday was definitely a highlight of the past six years I’ve spent as a wedding photographer. The sacrificial love that Josh and Lizi have for each other is a beautiful reflection of God’s love for us, and I couldn’t have felt more honored to be included in such a special day! I flew from Pensacola to Memphis, TN to photograph their wedding this week, and it was such an adventure!
Memphis is Lizi and Josh’s hometown, but Izmir, Turkey was what Lizi called home for most of her childhood. Her family spent several years in Turkey as missionaries, and I absolutely loved how Lizi incorporated Turkish elements into her wedding! For example, olive branches, which are significant in Turkey, were central to the decorations and details of the day (all of which were designed and created with love by family and friends). The couple exchanged their vows in Lizi’s grandmother’s garden just after sunset, under an arbor built by Joshua, followed by an intimate dinner reception that included sharing stories, laughter, and tears with their closest family and friends. Their wedding was one of the most beautiful and unique celebrations I’ve ever been a part of, and I am so grateful for the people God has brought into my life through my job as a wedding photographer!
Lizi and Josh, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your wedding day! I am so grateful that God brought both of you into my life, and I can’t wait to see where He takes you on this new adventure you’re starting together! Your gallery is currently uploading over the wifi in the Charlotte airport as I wait for my flight home haha, so for now, I hope you enjoy this little preview!
These beautiful invitations were designed by the groom!
“Seni seviyorum” means “I love you” in Turkish.
I love how many personal details were included in the photos. This box was hand-carved by Josh and used when he proposed to Lizi on a camping trip!
The wooden tables, also made by the groom, were such beautiful canvases for the olive branch place settings!
Lizi and Josh made their own wedding cake together the day before, and instead of a groom’s cake Joshua chose baklava, which is a traditional Turkish dessert (and both were DELICIOUS!).
When Lizi and her family came back to the U.S. to visit, she and her sister would play dress up in this room, which made putting on her wedding gown here so special!
First looks are always one of my favorite parts of the day!! So glad Lizi and Josh got to enjoy this sweet moment together before their ceremony :).
So glad Lizi, Josh, and their stunning bridal party were willing to drive across the street to the nature trail and brave the Memphis heat and humidity for portraits! They were amazing!!
The ceremony, officiated by Lizi’s father, started just after sunset, and was lit by the prettiest lanterns and lights. It created such a unique atmosphere, and I loved it!
Love this sweet couple!! Y’all are MARRIED!

Last Saturday I had the privilege of capturing this sweet couple’s wedding, and I am so excited to share a preview! Every detail of their day was amazing, from the peacock inspired decorations (that were mostly designed and DIY’d by the talented bride herself!), to Christa’s incredibly intricate and beautiful lace wedding gown, to the way John smiled when he saw his bride for the first time — I wish I could just bottle up all of the emotion and joy that their wedding day contained! I could go on and on, but I think their pictures will show just how special this day was!
Christa and John, thank you SO much for trusting me to capture your wedding day (and for braving the heat and 1000% humidity for photos! 😉 You guys were amazing, and I am so grateful that I got to be a part of your wedding! I hope you’re having so much fun in Gatlinburg — enjoy this little preview while I finish up your full gallery!
Christa designed the prettiest invitation suite! I love how she portrayed the peacock theme in such an elegant and glamorous way!
Christa, you are absolutely stunning!!
A first look with dad right before she walked down the aisle… this is the point of the day when I start crying behind the camera ;).
So glad Christa and John were willing to sneak out of their reception with me for a few sunset shots — the light was just gorgeous on them!

I can’t express the fun I had adventuring around with Kaitlyn and Michael Sunday evening! They came all the way from Mississippi so we could take their engagement photos in Pensacola, because they’re getting married in just a couple months at a beautiful beach house on Pensacola Beach, and because this little location is special as well! I asked Kaitlyn to type out the story behind this beautiful spot in her own words, because it is just precious and shows so much of the sweet connection they have!
“A month and a half into dating, Michael and I decided to take a short day trip to Pensacola. One of Michael’s work friends’ dad owns a small cottage with a private beach behind it, also known as the Point. The Point is on the bayside of Pensacola — a narrow pathway of sand leads out into the bay, and the water from both sides of the Point meets creating a unique design of ripples. When standing at the very tip of the sandy beach all alone surrounded by the rolling waves, there is a serene feeling that is only second to one — the one exception that far surpasses that powerful ocean feeling is the one I get when I see my fiance, Michael Ray Hefner. To go ahead and mix the two greatest things in the world, Michael walked me out to this unfamiliar area as the sun was well into setting. The oranges and pinks of the sky reflected on the water creating a glorious atmosphere. With some twirls, hugs, and laughter, we eventually made it to the furthest point of this sand strip; and he pulled me in for another hug, then took both of my hands. Looking into my eyes with a smile he said, “I am by no means proposing, but I just wanted to let you know that I’m going to marry you someday.” And here we stand again for our engagement pictures just nine weeks away from our wedding, ready for our forever!”
When Becca started telling me about her love story and how Schuyler proposed, I knew she and Schuyler had a special relationship! You could just tell she was marrying her best friend! Becca and Schuyler were two of the most joyful people on their wedding day, and I am so excited that I got to be a part of it! Becca made an absolutely stunning bride, and Coldwater Gardens in Milton was just gorgeous! It has such a unique atmosphere and beautiful design, and I hope I get to shoot more weddings there. I mean, a wedding venue with glamping tents — how cool is that?! I could go on and on about how much fun Becca and Schuyler’s wedding was, but I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves!
Becca and Schuyler, you guys are the best! Thank you SO much for giving me the privilege of capturing your wedding day! I hope you enjoy this little preview while your full gallery is uploading!!

Ok, so I seriously can not express how excited I am to share these photos! Kelly and Jason’s Seaside, FL wedding was one of the most FUN weddings I have ever been a part of! When Kelly and her bridesmaids walked through the door at Honeybee Cottage that afternoon, their excitement was contagious and I knew it was going to be the best day ever! Aside from being a drop-dead gorgeous couple, Kelly and Jason are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. It’s obvious that they were meant for each other, and I am so happy that I got to capture their love story! I *may* have over-blogged this wedding haha — it was way too hard not to share every single picture! For those of you from out of town, here’s a good peek into the paradise that is Seaside beach Florida, complete with the most amazing bride and groom and their sweet family and friends!
Kelly and Jason, thank you SO much for choosing me as your wedding photographer and making me feel so loved and well taken care of on your special day! I hope you enjoy reliving your wedding day through these photos — I can’t wait to send you your full gallery! <3
Shout out to my amazing assistant photographer Emily! She made the day a huge success and I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. So thankful she got to fly in from Memphis to visit and shoot with me! We saw this cute little walkway as we were leaving the guys at One Seagrove Place, and we couldn’t resist ;).
And just for laughs… I also love Emily because she captures behind the scenes shots like this when I’m carrying my gear through bushes to get to the location…
Honeybee Cottage was the CUTEST!
Kelly, you are radiant!
These girls should win an award for the best bridal party!

When I first met Amber for coffee to talk about her wedding, I knew I was going to love working with her! Not only is she gorgeous, she has the sweetest personality and I just loved getting to know her and hear her love story that day! After we had to reschedule her engagement session due to the weather, I woke up last Wednesday to a frustrating weather forecast — thunderstorms. But not all day. ONLY forecasted during the two hours we had set aside for Amber and Chris’s session. Seriously?! But after debating rescheduling again, we decided to take our chances and I am so glad we did, because we ended up having the brightest, prettiest golden sunset! Pensacola’s temperamental weather worked out in our favor this time!
I so enjoyed getting to hang out with Amber and Chris during their engagement session. I think my favorite thing about them is the way they smile at each other — you can just tell they are in love and so excited to be getting married! Amber and Chris also have two adorable pups, so it was super fun to get a few shots of their cute little family of four! We started out at Morgan Park on Pensacola Beach for photos with the dogs, then chased the sunset to Gulf Islands Natl. Seashore for some more photos of just Amber and Chris.
Amber and Chris, I seriously can’t wait for you guys to tie the knot later this year! I had so much fun shooting your engagement photos last week, and I hope you enjoy this little preview!!
A couple weeks ago a dream came true for me — I got to shoot my first destination wedding for an AMAZING couple in New Windsor, Maryland! I met Hannah online through Delight, a community for young ladies pursuing Jesus and the creative arts, a few years ago (to learn more about Delight check out delightandbe.com). When another photographer likes your work enough to ask you to shoot her wedding, that’s probably one of the biggest compliments you can receive, and it makes shooting the wedding a bit intimidating if I’m being honest!! But Hannah is the sweetest and she made sure I felt so welcomed from the moment I arrived in Maryland! I’m so glad I can not only call her my bride, but also my friend.
From a photographer’s standpoint, Hannah and Zach’s wedding day was literally the SMOOTHEST wedding I’ve ever shot. Partly because Hannah and Zach are STUNNING (am I right?!), and partly because there were several other Delight girls attending who had my back the entire day. From hanging the dresses in a tree, to finding a random ladder for me to stand on, to second shooting for me and making sure I remembered to eat, these girls made my day so wonderful and I am so thankful for their help and their friendship!
Hannah and Zach, thank you so much for trusting me with capturing such a special day. I feel beyond blessed that I got to be a part of your wedding day, and also a part of your lives! Witnessing your love for each other on your wedding day was something I will never forget, and I am so happy that you are finally Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher! I hope you enjoy this little preview while I’m finishing up your full gallery!!
When the “getting ready room” is almost as perfect as the bride…
I die during first looks guys… SO cute!!
How PERFECT are they?!
Such a gorgeous group of girls!!
Oh my heart <3 Hannah is the best aunt to this sweet girl!!
Zach made this arbor the day before the wedding, and I love how he incorporated the sign he made when he proposed to Hannah!
Sometimes I get to do some pretty cool things as a wedding photographer… like ride in a firetruck to the reception!!
And the danced…
And of course we had to get a Delight picture! These girls have my heart! <3
I think we’re becoming pros at the “cute candid laughing picture” hahaha

Erin and David’s wedding was such a dream! I’m so glad I was able to connect with both of them over Facetime and hear all about their love story before they traveled to the Destin Bay House for their wedding last Sunday! It’s a rare and special thing to know your spouse for as long as they have — they basically grew up together, so they’ve had years to build a strong, solid friendship, which I know will be such a wonderful part of their marriage!
Erin was a dream bride. Beautiful, easygoing, and joyful! And David, well, I don’t think I caught a single picture of him not looking at Erin with the biggest smile on his face! It is so evident that Erin and David’s love for each other is deep and genuine, and I felt so honored to be a part of the day they joined their lives together!
Erin and David, thank you SO much for choosing me to capture your wedding day! It was a day I will never forget, and you guys will always hold a special place in my heart! I hope you two are having a blast in Nashville, and I hope you enjoy this little preview while I edit the rest of your photos!
I LOVE a blush wedding gown, and Erin looked absolutely STUNNING in it!
